Carstar recently opened new automotive repair franchises in Brampton, Ont., Mercier, Que., and Leech, N.B.
The Brampton West franchise is located at 33 Selby Road. It is owned by co-franchisees John and Diana Vella and Frank Sottile, who also owns the city’s first Carstar shop. The new 6,000-square-foot facility offers full collision and windshield repair services.
“Becoming franchisees with Carstar and taking our independent collision repair experience to the next level is surreal,” says John. “We are grateful to be working side-by-side with Frank and having his mentorship as we move forward in our journey.”
Carstar Mercier is located at 396 St-Jean Baptiste Boulevard and is owned by father/son co-franchisees Robert and Alex Leduc. The 4,550-square-foot facility can accommodate more than 10 vehicles, has earned Gold Class certification under the I-CAR professional development program and is equipped with a modern paint booth. The shop was originally owned by Robert’s father, Roger, for 45 years and operated as Carrosserie Robert.
The franchise in Leech, known as Carstar Tracadie, is located at 1024 Route 370 and is owned by franchisee Reginald Brideau. The 3,300-square-foot facility carries I-CAR Gold Class certification and offers full collision repair services.
“Reginald is truly down-to-earth and only wants to provide the best service and repairs to all of his customers,” says Dave Meery, regional director for Carstar Atlantic Canada. “We are so proud to have him join the Carstar team and I am eager to see the outstanding work he’ll provide to those in the Leech and neighbouring communities.”
