Massage Addict has an exceptional record of success accredited to an unwavering focus on ensuring consistent and high-quality therapeutic treatments, a commitment to superior client service, the continued evolution of the brand based on market dynamics, and the ability to attract tier-one franchisees.
Membership is convenient and cost-effective
Massage Addict delivers more than 65,000 treatments monthly in Canada. These treatments help clients relieve pain, reduce stress, and enhance overall health. Membership is convenient, cost-effective, and covers a variety of services including massage, acupuncture, and reflexology. Non-members are also welcome, though membership does offer certain perks such as preferred pricing for the member as well as their family. At Massage Addict all therapists bring the highest standards of quality and expertise in their respective fields. Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs), Registered Acupuncturists, and Certified Reflexologists undergo rigorous education, training, and accreditation prior to practicing at Massage Addict.
Unprecedented growth nationwide
Massage Addict is 100 per cent Canadian-owned and operated and has opened 20 new locations countrywide in the last two years. Its rapidly growing network spans coast to coast. Massage Addict continues to flourish thanks to its proven business model, quality services, and superior customer service. The brand will continue to grow nationwide, attracting franchisees and experts through dedication to service, sustainability, and its proven business model.
West coast growth
In February, the 98th location is opening in Kelowna, B.C.
“I have been in the franchise business for more than five years, operating Imperial Oil and Mary Brown franchises,” says Kelowna, B.C., Massage Addict franchisee, Mohsina Ahmed. “After doing my due diligence, it was clear Massage Addict has a tried and tested business model and they would be there every step of the way.”
Massage Addict will continue to grow its presence on Canada’s west coast both in new locations, as well as within communities where existing clinics already enjoy a great reputation and loyal client base. Today, there are 22 Massage Addict clinics located in the western provinces. Based on interest in the Massage Addict brand, expansion in the west is forecasted to be very strong this year.
Reflexology and acupuncture services are a hit
Reflexology continues to be a success, building on the momentum of the service launch in early 2018. During its second year of service, Massage Addict provided more than 26,000 reflexology
treatments across Canada, a 28 per cent increase compared to 2018. The treatment targets pressure points on the hands, feet, or ears, which are connected to a specific body part and helps energize the body while promoting relaxation.
In mid-July 2019, Massage Addict added acupuncture to their growing list of therapeutic services for members and non-affiliates to enjoy. Since the nationwide launch of the program, Registered Acupuncturists have provided more than 9000 treatments, with more than 2300 in December. The procedure is a full-body treatment that helps ease the pain related to muscle tension, injury, recovery, stress relief, or the need for relaxation.
“Clients have responded to reflexology and acupuncture with enthusiasm and, based on this success, we will continue to grow our therapeutic service offerings in the future,” says Massage Addict’s president, Caroline Kolompar.
As 2019 was an important year in terms of business growth, 2020 is going to be an exciting year for Massage Addict to reach new milestones.
“There is excitement as we get closer to opening our 100th location in Canada this year. Massage Addict will focus on growth in key areas countrywide, opening new locations, and attracting high quality franchisees.”
A proven formula for success
Massage Addict continues to be a proven business model, providing franchise partners with low investment costs, recurring revenue, and quick return on investment (ROI). There is a growing need for high quality and affordable therapeutic services in Canada. Its established business model and ongoing support help bridge a market gap in health care and, consequently, set franchisees up for success.
Massage Addict offers single- and multi-location franchise opportunities and provides ongoing support with site selection, construction, training, therapist recruitment, and marketing.
