FastSigns honoured franchises in Burlington, London, Scarborough, and Windsor, Ont., Calgary and Kelowna, B.C., at its 2018 international convention in Houston, Texas, last month.

The sign shop franchisor recognized Diane and Brian Henderson of Burlington, Ted Schouten of London, Carol Ann and Craig Gibbs of Scarborough and Kevin Khan of Calgary for achieving more than $1 million in total sales in 2017.

Kimberley and Philip Walker of FastSigns Kelowna were also recognized with a Customer Solutions Award for their work on the Ultimate Hockey Centre (UHC). The franchise provided new signage for the entire facility.

A Show Us How You Care Award went to Donna Bilodeau and Jackie Raymond of FastSigns Windsor for supporting many local charities and initiatives. For example, they provided a bursary to a student from Ecole Secondaire Catholique E.J. Lajeunesse for a college program related to graphic design and animation, offered a 10 per cent discount to all non-profit organizations and donated almost $1,500—a portion of every sale in 2017—to the Windsor Veterans Memorial Services Committee and Downtown Mission of Windsor.
