Now open in Edmonton’s Magrath Heights area is a first-of-its-kind combination of Fatburger Express and Ricky’s Breakfast Café.
Fatburger Canada recently opened its Fatburger Express location in Magrath Heights, making it the company’s 12th restaurant in the Edmonton area.
Conveniently located in Market at Magrath close to 23rd Ave., residents in the neighbourhood no longer have to travel more than a stone’s throw to enjoy the brand’s burgers, chicken sandwiches, wings, chicken tenders, and much more. This Fatburger Express will provide customers easy access to dine-in, and also quick and convenient take-out, delivery, call ahead and pick up, and online ordering via their website or app on fatburgercanada.com.
“We are excited to be serving great tasting Fatburger favourites, made fresh with top quality ingredients to the Magrath community,” said Frank Di Benedetto, CEO of FDF Brandz, and owner of the Fatburger Canada chain. “Our vision is to bring delicious homestyle burgers and food to local communities in a unique and upbeat atmosphere.”
What’s distinctive about this Fatburger Express is that customers can dine in a 1900-square foot restaurant space shared with soon-to-open Ricky’s Breakfast Café, making it the first of its kind in Edmonton to offer customers the best of both brands.
Operator and franchisees, Sheila Pena and Margi Patel, see this restaurant as a natural fit with the Market at Magrath location, commenting that “busy shoppers, residents, and employees of the retail centre and offices will have lots of great options to choose from. The opening of a Fatburger Express coupled with Ricky’s quality breakfast and lunch menu is sure to be a hit in the community.”
Pena is a long-time member of the Ricky’s franchisee family, with the Breakfast Café location representing her third Ricky’s All Day Grill franchise.
