Quick-service restaurant (QSR) Burger King plans to open more than 100 restaurants in Ontario and Manitoba.
To help with this expansion, the company has inked a five-year deal with long-time partner Redberry Restaurants (Redberry) to grow the number of units countrywide by 25 per cent.
“Premium ingredients and signature recipes have defined our company for 50 years in Canada,” said Burger King’s general manager, Matt Wright. “We’re excited that even more Canadians will be introduced to the brand and food.”
As part of this new agreement, approximately 10 restaurants are planned to open this year in southwestern Ontario.
