Sun and Wang plan to open five franchises in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), starting in either Mississauga, Ont., or downtown Toronto.
“We noticed a gap in the Toronto market for innovative, high-quality ice cream like Cauldron’s,” says Sun. “The concept is fun, fresh and delicious and we believe it will be a hit.”
Cauldron is known for its made-to-order liquid nitrogen ice cream, Puffle cones, which are popular in Hong Kong, and innovative flavours, such as Earl Grey Lavender and Milk and Cereal. Its ice cream is served in traditional or rose-shaped scoops and the menu constantly changes with seasonal and monthly offerings.
The Toronto franchises will be Cauldron’s first locations outside the U.S.
