To kick off the summer season in Southern Californian (SoCal) style, food-service franchisor Chronic Tacos has introduced a steak and shrimp ‘surf-and-turf’ burrito at all of its locations across North America.
Chronic Tacos tested a variety of protein pairings and ingredient blends before deciding to roll out the new meal to all of its franchises. It follows the introduction earlier this year of tater tots and jalapeno queso blanco.
“We strive to offer items our customers can get truly excited about,” says Chronic Tacos’ president and CEO, Canadian-born Michael Mohammed. “Featuring a surf-and-turf burrito during the summer will bring the SoCal coastal influence to all of our locations.”
