Gourmet vegan bakery franchise system Cinnaholic has expanded its franchise footprint in North America by 79 per cent in the first half of 2018.
The company is on track to almost double its overall presence. Cinnaholic began 2018 with 76 franchises in development and is closing the second quarter (Q2) with 136 in development. It recently opened its first Canadian franchise in Edmonton, to be followed by bakeries in Winnipeg, Toronto and Thornhill, Ont.
“To say we are on a roll is an understatement,” says Cinnaholic co-founder Florian Radke. “This has been an incredible period of growth for us and we are only halfway through the year. After proving our concept to be a hit with consumers and franchisees, we have been able to significantly grow the Cinnaholic footprint and become a highly sought-after franchise opportunity.”
Cinnaholic began franchising in 2014 after receiving attention from an appearance on the television show Shark Tank.
