Food-service franchise system Cobs Bread has opened its 123rd location in Bedford, N.S.
The Bedford Place Mall bakery will be locally owned and operated by sister-and-brother team, Rebecca and Ben Cripps.
“I am looking forward to bringing something new to my community,” said Rebecca.
The franchise is known for its range of traditional and artisan breads, as well as sweet and savoury treats such as scones, croissants, and danishes. In addition, all franchisees are involved in their local communities through the ‘End of Day Giving’ program, where unsold product is donated to local charities based on a pick-up schedule co-ordinated between the charity or community group and the store.
“We are so thrilled to officially open in Atlantic Canada,” said the company’s vice-president of marketing and franchise recruitment, Brad Bissonnette.
