The latest addition to Ricky’s All Day Grill, opened in Hope, B.C. on September 15 at the Silver Creek Travel Centre.
The stylish 297 m2 (3200 sf) upscale casual restaurant and bar will comfortably seat up to 90 and employs approximately 20 staff. Inside the restaurant features an open concept layout with comfortable setting and welcoming décor, while outside, guests will find plenty of free parking and outside seating, adjacent to the restaurant for their convenience.
The newest addition to the Ricky’s family is run by general manager Claire Walker, who holds the same title with the Silver Creek Travel Centre, which is co-owned by Bill Miller and Dan Mitchell, who acquired the land from family and is heading up the project.
Walker sees a natural fit with Ricky’s and the Silver Creek Travel Centre.
“Silver Creek is a family business that wants to focus on community involvement to really make a difference in the City of Hope,” she said. “Coupled with Ricky’s focus on family and a quality inspired menu, it’s sure to be a hit in the Hope community.”
Ricky’s has been famous for breakfasts since 1962, and the chain has also become a neighbourhood favourite for lunch and dinner.
“We are pleased to serve Ricky’s family favourites amid friendly surroundings to all our guests,” said Walker. “We welcome folks who have dined before at a Ricky’s, as well as those unfamiliar with the restaurant chain to give it a try. We guarantee they’ll find something they like on our extensive menu.”
“We are delighted to add Hope to our growing chain of family-style restaurants and know it will be a popular place for travellers and locals alike,” said Andy Lewicki, director of operations of Ricky’s Family-Style Restaurants. “Set against the mountains, with spectacular vista views, this serene and scenic location is sure to be a popular destination whether you live there or are just passing through.”
