Swiss Chalet enhances digital experience through app, partnerships

Swiss Chalet has launched a new and improved mobile app and partnered with The Weather Network, sport team management app TeamSnap and navigation app Waze to enhance its digital customer experience.

The new Swiss Chalet mobile app features an option to save meals in ‘Favourite Orders’ or order previous meals through ‘Quick Order.’ Customers can also search and select menu items, filter by calories and allergens and purchase meals through Apple Pay.

Swiss Chalet’s partnership with the Weather Network will help it connect with potential customers by using weather pattern data to create specific targeted advertisements. Later this year, the company hopes to integrate ordering through the Weather Network’s mobile app, as well.

The TeamSnap partnership will include a series of banner and native advertisements appearing on TeamSnap’s website, aimed at helping busy parents and coaches co-ordinate team meals or family dinners.

Swiss Chalet is reportedly the first Canadian brand to integrate order-ahead functionality on the Waze app, which will locate the nearest restaurant, so customers can place orders before they start their commute.
