The company offers non-traditional programs for infants by teaching water safety and survival and swimming skill development. British Swim School’s year-round programs place students in classes based on skill level; once they graduate, children can advance to the next level without a waiting period.
“It was a natural progression to target Canada to enhance our international presence,” says Rita Goldberg, CEO and co-founder of British Swim School. “Canada generally focuses on session-based lessons versus our year-round approach. We are delighted to bring the concept to Canadians and confident it will make a positive impact.”
British Swim School is seeking local franchisees to help reach its goal of opening more than 50 franchises in Canada by 2020. Currently, there are more than 130 locations in the U.S. and one in Turkey.
