The Oakville restaurant, the chain’s first in Eastern Canada, is in the Erin Mills neighbourhood. It is a corporate location that will serve as the regional training facility for future franchisees.
“We’ve had our eyes set on the Eastern Canadian market for some time now,” says Bruce Fox, CEO and vice-president (VP) of development for Browns Restaurant Group. “Our model has been fully embraced by Western Canadian markets and we’re looking forward to seeing similar success out east. With our Erin Mills location, there is a solid demographic fit for the brand, with nearby residential development and a strong lunchtime business with several industrial parks close by, housing hundreds of businesses.”
The Winnipeg location, Brown’s first in Manitoba, is in the Kildonan Green neighbourhood.
“We are excited to announce the grand opening of our first location in Manitoba,” says Shane Hardy, regional manager. “We have already received a positive welcome by the community in Kildonan Green.”
