Budget Blinds donates $15,000 to Wounded Warriors Canada

Window covering franchise system Budget Blinds recently donated $15,000 to Wounded Warriors Canada (WWC), as part of its continuing support of the Canadian Armed Forces.

The donation will help ill and injured Canadian Armed Forces members, veterans and families. The franchisor will present the cheque to WWC during its ninth annual Canadian Summit for Franchisees in Halifax.

Budget Blinds first partnered with WWC in 2014, specifically to promote awareness of the effects of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). To date, the company has donated $45,000.

“Canadian veterans and their unique stories have always been near and dear to our hearts,” says Shirin Behzadi, CEO of Home Franchise Concepts, Budget Blinds’ franchisor. “We are honoured to support WWC’s mission to support veterans suffering from PTSD and other injuries sustained during their military service.”
