Dogtopia has appointed Kim Hamm as president and CEO of its Canadian operations.
During this period, the brand grew from 28 to 104 locations.
Hamm led the implementation of all strategic cross-functional initiatives, including building scalable systems, developing onboarding and training programs, driving the information technology (IT) infrastructure and operations for the brand, launching business intelligence tools, franchisee support, and increasing system-wide unit economics.
“As the demand for Dogtopia locations continues to increase countrywide, the time is right for Kim to lead the company’s strategic efforts in Canada,” said Dogtopia’s chairman Peter Thomas. “She understands business, operations, and the unique Canadian sensibility.”
Dogtopia recently opened its 13th Canadian location in Pickering, Ont. Six new locations are slated to open in Canada by the end of this year.
