This week’s special Undercover Boss episode will catch up with memorable bosses from all four seasons, including Dina Dwyer-Owens, chair and CEO of The Dwyer Group, a franchisor behind many well-known residential and light-commercial service brands.
Disguised in a company uniform as ‘Faith Brown,’ Dwyer-Owens originally appeared on an episode of Undercover Boss in January 2012, posing as a potential trainee in her company’s male-dominated trade industries. During her experience, she rode in different service vans in the field to see if the Dwyer Group’s code of values had infiltrated the front lines of its seven franchise brands:
● Aire Serv;
● Glass Doctor (including Portland Glass);
● Mr. Appliance;
● Mr. Electric;
● Mr. Rooter;
● Rainbow International; and
● The Grounds Guys.
The special episode, Undercover Boss: Epic Bosses, will catch up with bosses from previous seasons to see how their experiences on the show affected their lives and their companies. Dwyer-Owens, for example, started up a scholarship and recruiting program to attract more women to the trade services. The Epic Bosses episode will air on Friday, May 17 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
