Noordin Manasia has reopened the franchise, which closed down a year ago, with his brother-in-law Riyaz Maknojia. They say more than 150 people submitted applications to apply for a job.

“Topper’s Pizza is a brand that connects to people, which is why so many of them want to be a part of our family,” says Manasia. “As a delivery driver, I fell in love with the pizza, the brand and its history. Opening my own Topper’s Pizza is a dream come true.”

Topper’s Pizza was founded in 1982, began franchising in 1992 and currently has 36 pizzerias throughout Ontario. The franchisor has announced a strategic growth plan to open 12 more franchises over the next two years, both inside and outside Ontario.

“We are very excited Noordin and Riyaz are reopening the Milton pizzeria as a family business,” says Keith Toppazzini, Topper’s Pizza’s president and chief operating officer (COO).
