Franchisor behind Jan-Pro expands into home cleaning

cropPremium Franchise Brands, the company behind Jan-Pro commercial cleaning services, has launched Maid Right, which will provide professional-grade home cleaning to a new clientele of residential customers.

“We feel the launch will be one of the most energetic growth opportunities of any franchise in years,” says Danessa Itaya, Maid Right’s vice-president (VP). “Many cleaning industry sources have told us the master/unit franchising concept of Jan-Pro is also needed in residential cleaning.”

With this business model, a master franchisee controls a defined territory and builds the business within it by adding unit franchisees across the same area. The master franchisees will receive thorough support from the franchisor, including ongoing training, a service centre, a business coach, webinars, a hotline, regional meetings and a call centre.

“The time is right for the Maid Right franchise concept,” says Rich Kissane, president and CEO of Premium Franchise Brands. ”There is a need for a new and different approach in residential cleaning, one that addresses the issues of high customer turnover and the inconsistent quality of service offered.”

Itaya says Maid Right will provide longer customer retention than other home-cleaning companies because the unit franchisees will be business owners who are more invested in their residential customers and are committed to providing the best in professional service.
