The company has entered a multi-year partnership with CWF to help improve the lives of Canadian women. The donation will go toward the Girls’ Fund programming, which helps girls aged nine to 13 build confidence, develop leadership skills and challenge stereotypes.
Also on Mar. 8, Giant Tiger posted “Girls are strong like tigers” on Facebook and pledged to donate $1 for every like and comment, up to $5,000, to the Girls’ Fund. The brand reached its goal, as the post received nearly 7,000 likes and comments.
