Global Pet Foods’ annual fundraiser exceeds $1.2 million

Specialty retail pet food franchise system Global Pet Foods announced its Show Us Your Heart campaigns have earned a total of $1,250,000.

From Feb. 12 to 28, Global Pet Foods and event spokesperson Michael ‘Pinball’ Clemons asked Canadians to make donations to the campaign, which raises money for animals in need at shelters and rescue organizations across the country.

“Once again, our customers have shown the size of their hearts through donations and support,” says Jim Walker, president of Global Pet Foods. “As we celebrate our 40th anniversary this year, we have witnessed Canadians digging deep into their pockets to ensure more than 125 animal shelters and rescue groups can continue to feed and provide medical care to the thousands of pets in their care.”
