Senior in-home care franchise system Heart to Home Meals made a $2,000 donation to the Royal Canadian Legion’s poppy fund last week.
For a second consecutive year, the company and its franchisees made the donation in honour of Canadian Armed Forces veterans.
“We are proud to have customers who are veterans of the Armed Forces,” says Michael Gazer, Heart to Home Meals’ president. “We wanted to make a contribution as a company to recognize the courage and sacrifice of these brave individuals.”
Heart to Home Meals is registered with Veterans Affairs Canada as a supplier for its Veterans Independence Program, helping members stay in their own homes with access to healthy meals.
