The company makes, delivers and unpacks frozen home-style meals, soups and desserts to seniors living independently in their own homes. Franchisees Emily and Neil Ogilvie discovered Heart to Home Meals when Emily’s grandmother was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and put on a low-sodium, diabetic diet.
“She lived 90 minutes away, so bringing her meals on a regular basis was not an option, especially with three kids of our own,” says Neil. “We started researching what options existed in her area and found Heart to Home Meals.”
“My grandma’s health improved and we continued to order the fully prepared meals for her that met her dietary needs,” says Emily. “When placing our third order, we discovered there were franchise opportunities. We knew how much it helped my grandma and we wanted to bring it to seniors in our area.”
