Hero Certified Burgers is installing CleanSlate UV sanitizers in a select number of stores across Canada.
CleanSlate UV Sanitizers use hospital grade technology to sanitize common handheld objects, like cell phones, wallets, keys, and debit cards, using UV light. Customers can purchase a 20-second sanitization cycle for $1.
“People want to feel safe in restaurants and that has a new meaning in a COVID-19 world,” said Carlo Lucia, vice-president of operations for Hero Certified Burgers. “We are striving to provide a safe dining experience, [including] the sanitization methods we offer. We are so excited to offer this to our customers and are proud to do our part to mitigate the impacts of COVID-19.”
With touch-free device removal and no damaging chemicals, CleanSlate’s technology is hospital grade and is proven to deactivate SARS-CoV-2, the virus causing COVID-19, on cell phones.
The sanitizers will be available at Hero Certified Burgers locations across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and Quebec. A portion of the proceeds will support community based mental health programs.
