The Canadian Franchise Association (CFA) has announced the recipients of its 2019 Awards of Excellence in Franchising, naming Inspiration Learning Center and Driverseat Inc. as the grand prize winners in the traditional and non-traditional categories, respectively.
Distributed annually, the awards recognize franchise systems that have demonstrated superior franchise relations, leadership, training, and communications, with ‘traditional’ franchises classified as those with brick and mortar locations and ‘non-traditional’ being mobile or home-based companies.
The grand prizes were presented at a gala dinner during the 2019 CFA National Convention in Niagara Falls, Ont.
“The awards celebrate the best of growing together and the symbiotic partnership between franchisor and franchisees,” said Sherry McNeil, president and CEO of the CFA. “Regardless of the size or concept, a strong relationship between the franchisor and franchisees is vital to a franchise system’s success. We congratulate Inspiration Learning Center and Driverseat Inc. for their achievements; they’ve demonstrated they are the very best in Canadian franchising in 2019.”
More than 70 CFA-member brands participated in this year’s awards program. The winning franchise systems were determined from the results of a satisfaction survey completed by the participants’ franchisees.
