Frozen food retail franchise system M&M Food Market (formerly M&M Meat Shop) has committed to selling products with no artificial colours, flavours or sweeteners and no added trans fats by the end of 2017.
“We are proud of the fact 95 per cent of our products are already free of these ingredients,” says M&M’s CEO, Andy O’Brien. “We will continue to deliver high-quality products customers expect from us by taking it to 100 per cent.”
M&M has also announced it will only sell seafood products meeting sustainability guidelines. All seafood will be wild-caught or farmed and harvested using sustainable practices.
