M&M Food Market bans artificial ingredients and trans fats from all products

The newly redesigned M&M Food Market is part of the company's Real Food for Real Life commitment, which will include offering products with no artificial colours, artificial flavours, artificial sweeteners and partially hydrogenated oils (added trans fats) by the end of 2017. This is the next step in M&M Food Market's brand evolution. “We are proud of the fact 95 per cent of our products are already free of these ingredients,” says M&M’s CEO, Andy O’Brien. “We will continue to deliver high-quality products customers expect from us by taking it to 100 per cent.”

M&M has also announced it will only sell seafood products meeting sustainability guidelines. All seafood will be wild-caught or farmed and harvested using sustainable practices.
