Located near the intersection of Bay and College Streets, the restaurant is intended to balance fine dining with a quick-service setting. Customers order at a counter, then wait for their meals near the kitchen, where they can speak with the chefs preparing their food.
“As the rapidly growing fast-casual dining segment continues to gain acceptance in Canada, MTY believes now is the time to raise the bar,” says Michael Lublin, brand vice-president (VP) for Tosto. “Consumers can experience high-quality, premium dining in a quick-service environment and at a reasonable price.”
Tosto specializes in Italian meals with artisanal ingredients, with all pizza dough and pasta noodles created in-house daily. The menu represents a collaboration between chef Nicholas Wong and MTY’s concept development team.
