“Gourmet food trucks are a growing trend in North America, but you don’t see very many Mexican food trucks here in Canada,” says Alex Rechichi, Mucho Burrito’s CEO and president. “Our Taqueria Trio limited time offer adds a gourmet spin on a Mexican favourite, the taco, offering guests a level of quality and flavour they would expect from a fine dining restaurant in a fast food environment.”
Available until May 3 at franchises across North America, the tacos combine gourmet ingredients with traditional Mexican flavours in soft corn tortillas. They are available in three kinds:
1. Fiery chicken chorizo fiesta: grilled chicken, chorizo crumble, coleslaw, habanero fig spread, guacamole and sour cream.
2. Guacagrilled pineapple carnitas: slow-roasted pork, adobo mole sauce, grilled pineapple, red cabbage, guacamole and onion chips.
3. Mango steak tango: grilled steak, green mango slaw and spicy aioli drizzle.
