Bakery franchisor Nothing Bundt Cakes is opening its first Canadian location in Burlington, Ont., this fall.
Founded by Debbie Shwetz and Dena Tripp in 1997, Nothing Bundt Cakes is now selling bundt cakes of different sizes and flavours at more than 170 franchises in the U.S. The new shop in Burlington will be run by Debbie’s relatives, T-Jay and Morgen Shwetz.
“My wife and I have witnessed the success of the brand in the U.S., no doubt due to the quality of the cakes,” says T-Jay. “When the opportunity arose to bring this unique concept to our country, we jumped at it.”
“True hospitality and hand-crafted recipes are the cornerstones of our business and we aim to provide customers with everything they need for celebrations big and small,” says Debbie. “From premium cakes to retail items, such as cards, gifts and decorations, we look forward to bringing this incomparable experience to the people of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).”
