Over the past year, Paramount Fine Foods have donated tens of thousands of meals to those in need through its Dare to Care program.

Launched at the beginning of the pandemic, the program strives to support community members in a time of heightened hardship.

The program has served numerous community groups by acknowledging their contribution and thanking them through freshly prepared meals. These campaigns have touched a wide variety of communities across the GTA through free meals to healthcare workers, frontline staff, Peel Region paramedics, GTA school groups, and families in need.

Paramount kicked off their September campaign in partnership with The Hangout, a local youth empowerment group. A free youth empowerment event was held on September 4, where Paramount donated more than 200 meals to attendees.

“The pandemic has highlighted the importance of community support programs that help us care for one another,” said Mohamad Fakih, CEO of Paramount Fine Foods. “Something as simple as enjoying a meal can spark joy, celebration, and gratitude within our community, which the Dare to Care program brings to light.”

“This program will impact a lot of people and help strengthen our resilient community, added Fakih.
