Ontario-based pizzeria franchise system Pizza Nova is marking the ‘12 Days of Christmas’ by giving back to local communities.

Franchises in seven cities across the province are raising money for charities and organizations for 12-day periods leading up to Christmas with $1 from every order being donated to local groups. Participating cities include:

  • Hamilton;
  • Waterloo;
  • Cambridge;
  • Kitchener;
  • Peterborough;
  • Lindsay; and
  • Orillia.

Thus far in the campaign, Pizza Nova London has donated $1894 to the Sunshine Foundation of Canada, while Orillia raised $1191 for Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Orillia and District.

Additionally, Pizza Nova franchises in Belleville and Guelph, Ont., recently held charity days where all proceeds from the sale of special $2 pizzas were donated to local BBBS chapters. Each location raised more than $2000 for the child mentorship organizations.
