The recent winner of Food and Hospitality Magazine’s award for company of the year, Smoke’s offers many topping options, a choice of gravies and sauces for the yellow-fleshed fries and Quebec cheese curds. The new franchise is located on Victoria Avenue, minutes away from the famous falls themselves.
“I was looking for a fun, good-quality fast food franchise to cater to both locals and tourists,” says Peter Stranges, co-franchisee. “Smoke’s Poutinerie is exactly that.”
“Niagara Falls is always an awesome place to visit,” says Smoke’s CEO Ryan Smolkin, who founded the company four years ago. “I am so pumped to bring the original poutinerie and a true Canadian dish to one of the world’s most famous destinations!”
Smoke’s now has more than 60 franchises across Canada. Following Niagara Falls, it is set to reach several more Canadian cities this coming year, including Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Oshawa, Ont., and Kelowna, B.C.
