Featuring seasoned white meat breaded on the outside, the new sandwich is made fresh-to-order and comes with lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise on a soft, bakery-style bun. It is now available at participating Tim Hortons restaurants across Canada, starting at $4.99.
“Tim Hortons is Canada’s top breakfast destination and our goal is to become the number one lunch destination, as well,” says Tammy Martin, vice-president (VP) of marketing, food and merchandise. “In our most recent quarter, we surpassed competitor QSRs with the highest share of lunch traffic. We have amazingly loyal guests and we will continue to bring them new menu innovations.”
To promote the new sandwich, Tim Hortons is encouraging customers to show their excitement by performing the chicken dance. Starting on March 19, Instagram and Twitter followers were invited to post a video of themselves doing the dance, using the hashtag #CrispyChickenDance, for the chance to win a Tim Card to try the sandwich.
