Toronto Pearson International Airport, in partnership with Uber Eats and HMSHost, has launched a pilot program for in-terminal delivery.

Travellers flying out of Toronto Pearson International Airport can nosh at their departure gates with ease, thanks to a pilot program from Uber Eats and travel venue restaurateur HMSHost.

The two groups have partnered with Toronto Pearson to offer delivery for HMSHost-owned food franchise systems located within the airport’s Terminal 3. Using the Uber Eats app, domestic and international passengers can order dishes from Caplansky’s Deli, Paramount Fine Foods, Smoke’s Burritorie, Smashburger, and Fionn MacCools.

“Uber Eats’ partnership with Toronto Pearson is a perfect example of how our platform is creating unique experiences in unexpected places, beyond rides,” said Marcus Womack, head of global airport products at Uber. “We’re making the dining experience a more convenient part of travel, in one of the world’s most innovative airports, one meal at a time.”

The pilot program is scheduled to run to the third quarter of 2019, and is available at gates B22 to B41 and C30 to C36 in Terminal 3.
