Health care services provider Tranquil Care has announced its first franchisee will be located in Hamilton, Ont.

After announcing its entry into franchising back in January, health care services provider Tranquil Care has awarded its first franchisee in the Hamilton region.

“I heard about Tranquil Care because we knew one of the owners of the Toronto corporate operations,” says the Hamilton franchisee (who was not named). “We were always amazed with their success and wanted to be a part of it. We were excited when they announced that they were franchising.”

Since they started, the franchisee says they have been impressed with the training and support from the company. “The franchisor helped us get our first large client. We confirmed the business model works,” they explained. “We now are finding the struggle is to find enough employees to keep up with the demand. It is a nice problem to have.”

When asked what the biggest surprise was when they became a franchisee, they note, “It was how organized the business is.”  According to a company news release, this is in large part due to the comprehensive management software designed specifically for Tranquil Care. “The software makes things so much easier. Also, the focus on quality. There is a genuine caring for the caregivers and clients. This becomes a part of everything Tranquil Care does,” the franchisee adds.

Tranquil Care is based in Toronto and announced its franchising plans as part of the company’s 10th anniversary. In each market, Tranquil Care creates a team of registered nurses, personal support workers, and other care support workers to provide staffing services to care facilities as well as directly to those needing care in their personal home. It customizes the services, depending upon the client’s needs.
