Tutor Doctor launches new academic program

cropped imageA Tutor Doctor in-home tutoring franchise in Vaughan, Ont., has launched a new program to help students become high performers.

Franchisee Jon-Anthony Lui has introduced X-Skills, a new ‘game plan’ to help students with academic discipline. It covers such learning skills as planning. organization, follow-through, action and sustained effort, all of which are needed to execute tasks independently.

“Using this process, students can be coached to improve the skills that contribute to strong academic discipline,” says Lui. “Beginning with middle school, we are offering parents the opportunity to integrate X-Skills development into their children’s tutoring sessions.”

X-Skills builds upon Tutor Doctor’s already-successful one-on-one teaching methods.
