The grand opening will include a lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and a dinner from 4:30 to 9 p.m. The first 400 people will receive gifts and all customers will enjoy unlimited pop, coffee and tea.
Seating up to 250 people in a family-friendly setting, Uncle Bob’s serves home-style favourites, such as fried chicken, shepherd’s pie, poutine, sliders, lasagna and cotton candy. Prices for adults range from $12.99 for lunch to $17.99 for dinner.
“We are extremely proud to launch our first Canadian location in Barrie,” says Mark Falzon, Uncle Bob’s executive director. “We look forward to serving home-style classics to our new friends and neighbours. We thank the Barrie community for supporting us during our soft opening.”
Uncle Bob’s has plans to further expand in Ontario this year.
