McDonald’s Canada has partnered with WestJet to serve McCafé coffee on board its entire fleet of Boeing 737NG and 767NG aircrafts.
The first flight to serve the premium roast coffee was on Nov. 21 from Toronto to Calgary. The two brands plan to roll out the full service this week.
“We know our 21 million customers per year will enjoy the taste of a complimentary McCafé coffee wherever they are flying,” says Gregg Saretsky, CEO of WestJet. “The collaboration between our two brands is a perfect pairing, as McCafé’s values are reflected in WestJet’s commitment to offer an unmatched guest experience.”
The partnership will serve approximately 30,000 cups of coffee every day.
