The franchise system currently comprises more than 50 restaurants in Canada and the U.S., featuring hundreds of soup recipes, with 12 rotating daily varieties, including low-fat, low-calorie, vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free options, all served with freshly baked bread. The menu also features made-to-order salads and sandwiches.
“In good times and bad, soup has powerful, intangible qualities that provide comfort and promote a genuine sense of well-being for many people,” says Eric Ersher, Zoup’s founder and CEO.
“The Zoup! concept, healthy food choices and homey atmosphere really resonate with me,” says Richmond Hill franchisee Katy Wu. “We are excited to bring the brand and culture to Richmond Hill and look forward to offering local residents our soups and delicious sandwiches and salads.”
