All franchises are promoting inclusive workouts for World Health Day on Apr. 7. Participants around the world can upload photos of themselves to social media with #GetToAHealthierPlace for a chance to appear in a company video.
“Too often, people with different beliefs or backgrounds focus solely on those differences,” says Dave Mortensen, president and co-founder of Anytime Fitness. “What’s more important is what we all share in common: a desire to lead happy, healthy lives while spending time with the people we love. We are encouraging members and non-members alike to work out wherever and whenever they like, with whomever they choose. Exercise doesn’t discriminate. It’s good for everyone and more fun when you do it with a friend.”
