The law firm was established in 1978, and it has been rendering services to potential franchisors and franchisees since 1979. For franchisors from outside Quebec wishing to do business in our province, we have coordinated the adaption of franchise contracts to the Quebec reality, involving not just translation into French, but also, and more importantly, adjusting these contracts to specific Quebec Civil Law concepts. Me Francois Alepin is a member of the Order of Chartered Administrators, as a Certified Franchise Expert. The firm includes 27 lawyers and notaries, of whom 7 work in the fields of franchising, as well as civil, tax, corporate and commercial law and litigation. Our firm serves clients from several Canadian provinces and US states with regards to franchising matters.
