Shopper’s Drug Mart’s 15th annual Shoppers Love You Growing Women’s Health campaign kicked off on Sept. 10 to raise funds for charities. For four weeks, Shoppers franchises will accept donations from customers, along with the company’s $50,000 donation, with a goal of raising $3.3 million in total.
Bulk Barn is collecting donations at franchises nationwide for its 12th annual Alzheimer Society Coffee Break fundraiser until Sept. 21. Money raised through the sale of ‘Coffee Break’ decals will benefit people with dementia and their family members in communities across Canada.
Food-service franchise systems Pizza Pizza and Pizza 73 raised $400,000 in 2015 for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH) through their Slices for Smiles campaign. Since the fundraiser began in 2007, the two pizza companies have raised more than $2 million for CMNH.
