If you ask Stacey Hansson to describe herself, ‘foodie’ is one word that comes to mind. That’s a good thing, considering she’s senior vice-president (SVP) of Ricky’s Group of Family-style Restaurants, a position that puts her in charge of overseeing operations and franchise development of its brands: Ricky’s Country Restaurant, Ricky’s All Day Grill and its latest offering, Ricky’s Café.
Food-service franchise systems Ricky’s All Day Grill, Fatburger and Buffalo Express are operating under one roof after a recent renovation in Prince George, B.C. The co-facility was redesigned in a retro style and features a 52-seat Ricky’s side-by-side with an expanded 24-seat Fatburger and Buffalo Express.
Food-service franchisor Ricky’s All Day Grill has opened its second restaurant in Regina under the ownership of Glenn Weir Group. Located in Grasslands Towne Centre, the franchise seats up to 162 people and features upscale décor, colourful wall murals and food photography.
The food-service franchisor behind Ricky’s All Day Grill, RG’s Lounge and Ricky’s Café has acquired the ABC Country Restaurant chain, which has approximately 27 locations in British Columbia and Alberta.
