Subway has added a carved turkey sandwich to its menu, available at Canadian franchises for a limited time. The sandwich includes thick-cut slices of 100 per cent Canadian turkey topped with a new cranberry mustard sauce.
Subway Canada is serving a Korean barbecue (BBQ) pulled pork sandwich until August 31 to help bring more ethnic-inspired options to its menu. The sandwich features slow-roasted pulled pork tossed in a glaze infused with a mix of soy, garlic, gochujang paste and sesame oil.
Subway Canada has partnered with Burnac Produce to bring Ontario-grown vegetables to 1,300 franchises across the province. The Government of Ontario and non-profit organization Greenbelt Fund are providing $90,000 to Burnac through the Local Food Investment Fund (LFIF) to go toward the ‘Stop at Subway for Ontario Grown’ project.
Food-service franchise system Subway Canada has updated its menu with shaved steak free of artificial flavours, colours and preservatives. It is part of the company’s commitment to remove all artificial flavours, colours and preservatives from its sandwiches in North America over the next 14 months.
